Education

I am a Molecular and Cellular Biologist, with degrees in Molecular and Cellular Biology, as well as in Chemistry!

Experience

I have extensive experience tutoring a wide variety of Biology and Chemistry classes - whether it's Introductory Biology, Organic Chemistry, or even as far as Advanced Cellular Biology! I have always had a real knack for being able to explain very complex things in very simple, and easy to understand ways. ... However, none of this ever came easy - and I am glad to pass on everything that I have learned to you, so that you may benefit from my experience and knowledge gained! I am glad to show you why I am already so many students' go-to Science tutor (I am only new to WyzAnt). Before moving back to the Bay Area, I taught Advanced Cellular Biology at the University level. I am a Molecular and Cellular Biologist, with a second degree in Chemistry. All of my background requires a very in-depth, detailed understanding of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Calculus. Because of this, along with my many interests not just inside, but outside of the sciences as well (ex: outdoors, sports, technology, business), I am always able to bridge the gap between your material to relate it to the real world! I really do see the science in everything. And this is something that I actually really like doing - breaking the monotony of your class, and showing you how it actually is useful and applicable to actual, realistic, everyday situations. Makes it really easy for you to learn, and makes it actually enjoyable for you as you learn! Imagine that - learning how your science classes are actually useful! I am someone with a very, very solid understanding of the fundamentals that make up everything in the world around us. As I will often tell my students, "you can build big things from little things, but you cannot construct little things from big ones" - this emphasizes the sheer importance of the details, and all of the 'little things' that go on to provide the foundations for all of the big things built upon it later on. How can you expect to multiply, if you cannot add? And how can you expect to add, if you cannot count? Let us count the milestones together as we embark on the journey through science - as we embark on the journey to explain all that surrounds us! If you're ready to take control of your academic or career path - or just want to master your classes - contact me and we can get started RIGHT AWAY! I respond very quickly and am very prompt, professional, and understanding of ALL situations! I've been there, and I want to get you through it!
